Who We Are
At Take 2 Rebuilding, we understand that life after domestic violence can be overwhelming and challenging. Our team of professionals are committed to offering personalised support and assistance to those post- crisis to aid in rebuilding your life after such a traumatic experience. We provide individual designed programs to tackle all components of the rebuilding process, from legal assistance, financial advisement to overall well-being support and career advancement. Our positive survivor mentality is present throughout our entire program, with a goal of empowering and improving the lives of our clients.

Our
Why
In 2017, Samantha Richardson made the bold decision to leave her husband. It took months of trying to communicate and unpack the mental and emotional boundaries before she was certain she was going to leave. It was a tumultuous time in her life filled with uncertainty. Where was she going to go, how was she going to leave, what was next for her? She was unsure of what laid ahead of her, only that she couldn’t put up with the abuse, stress and loss of herself any longer.
She confronted trusted friends to assist in her exit strategy and began setting all the pieces in motion. Over the next few months she worked tirelessly trying to find supportive services, counsellors, coaches etc to help assist her in rebuilding her new life on her own. She struggled to find the services and support she felt she needed. Samantha internally, and with persistence rebuilt her life alone without that assistance she desperately sought, often fighting thoughts of suicide. It took her 2 years of intense work to feel like she had before her marriage and was stronger than ever. She has been determined ever since to create a programme that hosts all the services and support she sought out in her darkest days to assist those also in the depths of rebuilding.
